Things we think you'll want to know

Before Class

We ask that you show up to the gym hydrated and ready to get moving 15 minutes before class. Say "What's Up" to Adam to take care of some housekeeping before meeting your coach and workout partners in the jungle.

The Class

10-15 min warm-up: We always make sure that your body is primed to move as safe and effectively as possible.
 

45-50 min class time: Get ready to work hard and embrace the suck unlocking your full athletic potential.

Post Class

Feel free to hang back after class to chat with Matt and Adam about your health & fitness questions, things to do in Chicago and/or hear your class & experience feedback.

Frequently asked questions

What if I am a beginner unfamiliar with working out/the types of equipment that is used at JagFit?


This is not a problem at all! Everyone needs to start somewhere, and we would be thrilled if you would take the first step with us. All workouts can be scaled and tailored to any experience level.




Will coming to an open gym count as one of my classes for the week?


Yes. We know that life can be hectic and schedules change, just because you can’t attend a coach-led class doesn’t mean you should lose your workout for the day. We operate on a check-in basis. When you check into the facility it will count as one of your classes for the week.




Can I come during class time and do my own workout?


Unfortunately, no. Our classes constantly vary and could utilize a variety of equipment on any given day. With lots of moving parts we ask that if you come to move during class time you move with us. If you would like to do your own programming for the day, we would love to see you come by during our open gym hours.




How far in advance can I sign up for a class?


We want you to be able to organize your week while making fitness a priority. For this reason, we made sure that our platform allows you to reserve your spot in class up to 7 days in advance.




What is your cancellation policy?


Classes: If life happens and you are unable to make a class, we ask that you attempt to free up your spot 2 hours in advance. Memberships (month to month): If you need to cancel your membership, we ask that you give us a 30-day notice.




How old do I have to be to workout/be a member?


The discipline of physical fitness can start at any age, we just ask if you are under 18 you have a parent provide consent.




I have a physical limitation that may prevent me from doing some of the movement and/or using certain pieces of equipment. Can I still do the workouts?


Absolutely. We strive to prepare you for the sport of YOUR life. That may mean tailoring the workout to fit your needs and we are happy to do so. As long as you are cleared by your doctor for exercise our knowledgeable coaches will find a way to make you Jaguar fit.




How many people can be a part of a class?


We want to make sure you get the attention you deserve. Our classes have a 20 person cap on Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri.. Our Wed. and Sat. classes are structured as partner workouts and can accommodate 30 people, more opportunity for you to meet your new gym bestie.




Do I need a personal lock for a locker?


We are a BYOL (Bring Your Own Lock) establishment, but we happily provide lockers you can use!




I’m pregnant. Can I still participate in the class workout?


Absolutely! All workouts are modifiable to make sure our mothers-to-be can enjoy a workout for two in a safe and beneficial way.




Do you offer gym towels?


Yes. Make sure you grab one, it’s about to get sweaty!

How do I sign up for a class?


We use an amazing platform called Triib for all client information. After joining JagFit you will create your own easy-to-use Triib account. Here you will be able to see the class schedule, sign up for classes, track strength and cardiovascular progress markers, and be informed about any upcoming gym events.




Can I bring my child or my pet?


JagFit can get pretty loud and chaotic when the music comes on, the weights start moving, and the machines start whirring. For the safety of your children and pets, we ask that you please leave them at home.




Is JagFit Crossfit?


The short answer is no. Although we use some similar pieces of equipment the structure of our programming is different to achieve a separate goal.




Can I just drop in for a class?


Please bring in your friends and family to show them where you let out your bad-ass side for a $25 drop-in fee.
