Foundations classes in Chicago & Lemont
On-Ramp is private coaching that builds you up to Strength & Conditioning. Four one-on-one sessions for a complete foundation, or an abbreviated two-session version if you’ve trained before. Either way, you walk into your first class knowing the movements, the format, and your coach.
Who is On Ramp for
On-Ramp is for people who want a proper build-up before joining group class: complete beginners, anyone coming back after years away, and experienced trainees who just want the movements and format dialed in first.
It’s one of three ways in at Jaguar. At your free intro we’ll figure out together whether On-Ramp, our 30-day trial, or personal training is your best starting point. No wrong door.
Benefits
Why start with On Ramp at Jaguar Strength & Conditioning
One-on-one with a coach
2-4 private sessions, just you and your coach. No keeping up with a class, no feeling watched, no pace but yours. Your coach adapts every session to how you move and how you’re progressing.
Learn every movement safely
Your coach teaches and demonstrates the foundational movements we use in class, reviews your range of motion, and shows you the right scaling options, so you’re moving safely from rep one.
Walk into class confident
By the end of the course you’ll know the movements, the terminology, and the class format. Your first group class won’t feel like your first day, because it isn’t.
What you’ll cover in On Ramp
Six sessions, one clear goal: get you class-ready. Here’s what you and your coach will work through.
The foundational movements
The squats, presses, and lifts that show up in group classes, taught and practiced one-on-one until you’re comfortable with each.
Assessed around you
Your coach reviews your movement and history, then adjusts what you learn and how you scale it to fit your body.
Two tiers, your pace
The Full On-Ramp is four sessions for a complete build-up. The Abbreviated On-Ramp is two sessions for people with training experience who need less runway. We’ll recommend the right one at your intro.
Graduate to group classes
Finish On-Ramp and you roll straight into group classes with your coach’s sign-off, at whichever gym you joined.
On-Ramp sessions are booked one-on-one with your coach at times that work for you, at both our Chicago and Lemont gyms.

On Ramp FAQs
Do I have to do On-Ramp before joining classes?
No. Plenty of members start straight on our 30-day trial. On-Ramp is there if you want a one-on-one build-up first, and at your free intro we’ll recommend the path that fits your experience.
Which tier is right for me?
If you’re new to this style of training or returning after a long break, the Full On-Ramp’s four sessions give you a complete foundation. If you’ve trained before and mostly need our movements and format, the two-session Abbreviated version gets you to class faster.
How long does it take?
Sessions are scheduled around you, so most people finish the full course inside a couple of weeks, and the abbreviated version in one.
I'm really unfit. Is this still for me?
Especially for you. One-on-one is the most supportive way to start, and your coach scales everything to exactly where you are today. There’s no fitness requirement to begin.
Is On-Ramp available at both gyms?
Yes, you can complete it at either our Chicago or Lemont gym with a coach from that location.
